Kiara smiled at her mother and sat up straight, taking on the appearance of being stronger than she originally was.

Scar had tracked Zira to the border by now; he had not seen her for a while and was getting curious. He was a little surprised to see Nala and Kiara there, chatting with her.

He stopped to stand next to Zira, just barely on his side of the border. He smiled a little and looked at the two lionesses. “Come now, two against one is hardly fair. Though I don’t remember the last time the Pride Lands did something fair.” He looked for a while at the younger lioness, and whispered to Zira, “Who is she?”

“Wer not doing anything unfair, Scar. Wer just talking.” In Nalas eyes it was now unfair for her. If a fight would happen Kaira would be in danger, she knows nothing about fighting.
